The Similkameen wine industry is booming. The number of vineyards is expanding rapidly and the region now boasts 12 wineries. More and more people are discovering the fantastic growing conditions for grapes in the Similkameen and the fantastic wines that result. Not only is the region developing a reputation for grape based wines, but the extensive fruit orchards of the valley are helping to produce some of Canada’s best fruit wines as well.
