The Similkameen Valley is a food lovers haven. Over 40% of the farms are organic and the region produces an outstanding array of fruits and vegetables, honey, turkey and more. The dozens of fruit stands that line the highway are the perfect location to stock your larder, and after picking up some local wine you can get the full Similkameen experience.
Those farms that don’t have fruit stands are busy driving around to sell their wonderful food at Farmers’ Markets around the Province. Make sure to ask if it is Similkameen.
